           In the twenty first century, cell phones are a huge part of our culture. For some people texting is a crucial daily activity. Texting could be either fun or dangerous depending on the situation in which it is done. In our present society it is hard to imagine life without a cell phone to communicate with relatives and friends.

            Countless people of this century cannot picture their lives without a cell phone and texting. Texting family and friends is a constant and daily activity in most parts of the world. Learning of how a friend’s day is going through a text message is a frequent activity of mine. It is a great way to communicate with someone because it is a straight to the point type of method. Texting is very convenient to use in many places where talking is an issue.

            Texting can also be hazardous if done in a dangerous situation. A dangerous situation is texting while driving. When a driver is using a cell phone to call or text message someone the driver gets distracted. Texting while driving is a difficult task to do because the driver doesn’t pay attention to the numerous obstacles in the road.
